We acknowledge how important it is for Facebook to be a place where users feel empowered to communicate, and we seriously take our role in keeping abuse off our services. That is why the company has developed a set of Community Standards that profiles what is and is not allowed on Facebook.

To ensure that everyone’s voice is appraise we take great care to craft policies that are inclusive of different views and beliefs, in particular those of communities and people that might otherwise be overlooked.
The goal of our community standards has always been to create a pleasant and comforting environment to create place for expression and give people a voice. This has not change and s not wiling to. Developing a community and bringing the world closer together depends on peoples ability to share different views, experiences and information.
We want people to be able to talk openly about the issues that matter to them, even if some may disagree or find them objectionable. In some instance we allow content for public awareness which would otherwise go against our community standards – if it is newsworthy and in the public interest.
Our dedication to expression is overriding, but we recognize the internet builds new and increased opportunities for abuse. For these reasons, when we limit our expression, we do it in service of one or more of the following values.
SAFETY ON FACEBOOK COMMUNITY STANDARDS
We are dedicated to making Facebook a safe place. Utterances that threatens people has the potential to intimidate, exclude or silence others and this is not allowed on Facebook.
PRIVACY
We are committed to protecting personal and privacy details. Privacy gives people the freedom to be their real self and choose how and when to share on Facebook and connect more easily.
AUTHENTICITY
The company is making sure the content the public is seeing on Facebook is Authentic. We believe that authenticity creates a better environment for sharing, and that’s why we don’t want people using Facebook to misinterpret who they are or what they are up to.
